About Acorn Organic Salon

Acorn Organic Salon was developed based on a need for more healthy, natural hair choices. Located in Dover and Exeter, NH, Acorn was the first of its kind in the New Hampshire Seacoast. Owner Laura Mackay has created a “green” salon that has extremely high standards of reducing toxicity, reusing materials, and recycling.

The concept of Acorn is to be different than the typical salon. We have a fun environment and an experienced staff. We want our clients to have such a unique experience that they return time and time again. We offer several safe services with many appointment booking options.

Acorn’s products work the same as any other salon but are much safer to put down the drain, into the environment, and on the skin. The difference of Acorn is noticed as soon as you walk through the door; it doesn’t have the toxic smells of other salons. Acorn only uses products that contain safe, healthy ingredients, that gives beautiful results. We are an eco-friendly company and do not support ANY form of animal testing.
